Smart Energy UK & Europe Summit

The 8th Annual Smart Energy UK & Europe 2017, Europe’s leading and most established Smart Energy event, will again play host to over 500 industry professionals from Europe and around the world. Held at the Lancaster Hotel, just off London’s famous Hyde Park, this 2-day event is packed full: with a 5 stream conference, 30+ booth exhibition, networking & meeting functions, and the exclusive 8th Annual Smart Energy Awards Ceremony and gala dinner. The event will examine the developments, challenges and opportunities in smart energy; for utilities, government, regulators, solution providers, and other industry professionals working within the sector. This year’s summit will feature regional case studies, as well as highlighting Smart Energy projects from around the world. For this 8th anniversary event, we see the return of Smart Metering UK and Smart Metering Europe combine into one conference stream, in order to provide attendees with a broader scope of cutting edge developments in Europe’s Smart Metering Industry.We will also see the return of Smart Grids and Energy Storage, looking at infrastructural requirements, regional case studies and advancing technologies. As the concept of IoT gains momentum in the energy realm and creates a paradigm shift in the utility-consumer relationship, we also put this under the microscope in the Smart Cities, IoT and Connected Home, and the Big Data, Analytics and Cyber Security streams. New for 2017, water and gas metering professionals will join forces with electricity metering experts, in order to gain valuable cross-sector insight into commercial strategy, consumer engagement and cost-benefit feasibility.
